Fagor Automation introduces Aerospace solution 8065 CNC at Westec 2012 tradeshow

The 2012 Westec Tradeshow in Los Angeles March 27th-29th provided Fagor Automation the perfect place to launch the 8065 CNC. As stated by Todd Drane, “The Westec show is the perfect opportunity to showcase a new high performance technology product, not just because of the high volume of attendees the Westec show attracts, but also due to the strategic importance of the Aerospace customers headquartered in Southern California.

More than 500 manufacturing solution providers were on-hand, showcasing nearly 200 new machine tools, technologies and manufacturing advancements at what has become the west coasts leading manufacturing technology showcase. The outlook among exhibitors and attendees at this year’s WESTEC was definitely upbeat. Many expressed a significant increase in traffic and leads from recent prior shows. Fagor Automation was one of many exhibitors who found themselves with near non-stop crowds throughout the event.

In addition to the 8065 CNC on display, Fagor also displayed the 8055 line-up of CNC products as well as a variety of Digital Drive/Motor Systems. In addition, the 40i & 20i Innova Digital Readout system with associated scales were on display plus high resolution linear & rotary encoder products for a broad variety of precision applications.

Special note would be on the recognition of many prospective customers to the Fagor 8065/8070 multi-channel CNC capabilities as well as the announcement of a large prominent Aerospace company of current plans to utilize the capability of Volumetric Compensation with their Fagor 8070 CNC equipped Machine Tool.
