His royal highness the crown prince visited Fagor Automation’s booth

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, visited Fagor Automation at the 26th edition of the biannual Spanish machine-tool exhibition.

Within inaugural act of BIEMH 2010, Don Felipe was received by the president of the Basque Government Mr. Patxi López and the president of the Basque parliament Ms. Arantza Quiroga among other authorities.

Once received with an Aurresku (Basque salutation dance), the Prince greeted the presidential team of the Spanish association of machine-tool manufacturers (AFM) and its director Mr. Xabier Ortueta who accompanied His Royal Highness throughout the whole exhibition.

On the itinerary set by the Royal House, Fagor Automation was one of the 10 companies of the association of machine-tools visited by Don Felipe.

When he reached Fagor Automation’s booth in pavilion 3, he was received by Mr. Pedro Ruiz de Aguirre, general manager of Fagor Automation S. Coop.

There, Don Felipe was shown the novelties in CNC and Feedback systems presented by Fagor Automation at this edition of the biannual Spanish exhibition.

The prince Don Felipe showed great interest on the beneficial contribution of the new 8065 CNC to the machine-tool sector as well as that of the longest steel-tape-based absolute encoder on the market.

His Royal Highness had the opportunity to see on site Fagor Automation’s present commitment to technological development.
