Description and objectives:

The objective of the EVECOR project is to study the feasibility of research and development opportunities in the e-corner concept.

The aim is to explore the potential advances of this concept, exploring the possibilities of its evolution from several perspectives:

  • An understanding of the requirements for its application, prioritising the most relevant ones.
  • The state of the art with existing solutions and their unsolved problems.
  • The opportunities in the search for configurations where manufacturability is a priority.

The result of this project will be a feasibility study and a proposal for a research project or projects to be undertaken in order to improve the state of the art from a technical and manufacturing point of view.

An important element is the target vehicle of this ecorner, which is the Robotaxi. This is an urban, electric and normally autonomous and connected vehicle, which, with the new mobility concepts, will serve cities through shared use, and is expected to grow significantly from 2025 onwards.
