Description and objectives:
The monitoring and analysis of machining processes (extendable to other manufacturing processes) that involve a high number of operations, with multiple tools and different working conditions and very high execution times, presents a particular challenge within the digitalisation strategies of our companies in their aim to provide advanced functionalities and services to their customers.
The complete machining of an aircraft wing, the compressor housing of an aircraft engine or the hub of a wind generator are examples of such parts. They involve processes that can range from a few hours to machining times of more than 30 hours. These processes are composed of a large number of different operations, involving a large number of different tools and therefore have individual requirements, limitations and characteristic parameters.
PROCESSPRINT aims to address this problem through the development of a solution, with universal vocation or at least replicable in different parts and complex processes, to allow the collection, sorting and processing of process parameters, computation of fingerprints per operation and detection of anomalous executions from the comparison of the measured data with the defined fingerprints, also providing an agile and clear visualisation environment for the user.
