Fagor Automation estimates that sales in the Chinese market will be up to 150% after the CIMT show

The China International Machine Tool Show CIMT 2021 has taken us back to times we thought we would not return to for quite some time. CIMT is one of the most popular international exhibitions for the machine tool suppliers from all over the world, and it has given us the opportunity to meet our customers face to face again.

CIMT 2021 has been a successful show for Fagor Automation, where customers have shown great interest in continuing to work with us. According to Iñaki Legarda, “is estimated that after the CIMT fair, sales in the Chinese market may increase up to 150% of our 2021 forecast”. According to the report prepared by the Chinese Manufacturers Association, an upturn and an optimistic scenario is expected as far as the order book is concerned, and this has been remarked in all the meetings we were able to have with both current customers and future new customers. From the total visits we had, 20% to 24% of them are new potential customers.

3statechThe Chinese market shows special interest in technologies such as SERIES3 and 3Statech, as well as CNC products. With the SERIES 3 technology, we have taken a step forward in terms of high-end absolute encoders, which have been very well received by Chinese companies.

QuercusFagor Automation’s offer with Quercus has been another milestone at CIMT 2021. The interest shown by the Chinese market for the 8058, 8060 and 8070 platforms of the Quercus system positions us at the forefront also in the Chinese market.
