Fagor Automation yesterday welcomed the General Deputy of Gipuzkoa, Eider Mendoza, and the Deputy for Economic Promotion and Strategic Projects, Unai Andueza, to its Eskoriatza plant for an institutional visit, during which the company shared its activities, evolution, and main strategic lines for the future. Representing Fagor Automation were Andoni Larrañaga, president of the company; Jose Perez Berdud, CEO of Fagor Automation; Aitor Etxebeste, incoming CEO; and Iñaki Bañuelos, Director of the Feedback Business.
During the meeting, the management team outlined the evolution of Fagor Automation in a context of technological and industrial transformation, marked by the need to adapt to increasingly demanding global environments. Within this framework, the company highlighted its commitment to strengthening competitiveness through innovation, internationalization, and diversification into new industrial fields.
The visit included a tour of the facilities, allowing the institutional representatives to see firsthand the company’s daily operations and its position as an international benchmark in automation and control solutions for advanced industry.
Among the projects presented, special mention was given to Smart Encoder Systems, Fagor Automation’s business line focused on developing advanced motion measurement and control solutions. The development of this technological proposal represents an important step in the company’s diversification strategy, enabling it to expand into advanced industrial sectors with high requirements for precision, reliability, and performance.
